It all began in Kung Fu class.  Elizabeth had been taking the class for about 3 weeks before Robert joined so she pretty much kicked his butt when the teacher paired them together for an exercise.  That was it.  Robert knew he would marry this girl someday.  But he had a long road of courtship ahead of him.  Robert introduced Elizabeth to his two daughters, Renee and Kelly, and Elizabeth passed the test (whewww!).  

Four years later (2003), three days before Christmas, Robert proposed to Elizabeth.  He was very creative about it too.  Well, Elizabeth already knew her answer would be...YES!

So began the wedding plans.  The search for the gown (found it in Atlanta, GA with Robert's Mom), the booking of the church, reception location, etc.  It's all been a learning experience.  Despite the stress, the love that Robert and Elizabeth have for each other continues to flourish.  It was recently made stronger as both of them committed themselves to Christ.  Now they move forward with Renee and Kelly, and their pound puppy, Enya, building their relationship, and their marriage upon the rock of God.
